We like manifestation as much as everyone else, but we’re too impatient to wait for the universe to deliver results; we’re all about going out and making our goals a reality. This is how we tackle our goals so that manifestation and the power of positive thinking are just added bonuses instead of our whole growth strategy.
In this article we’re going to get specific about your goals, how you’ll achieve them, and the systems and processes you’ll need to thrive in those goals. You’ll finish this article with everything you need to create a blueprint to achieve your goals in 2023. Just in time to get back on track for Q3.
Identify What Our Goals Look Like
The first step to making goals a reality is understanding exactly what achieving that goal would look like. Let’s say your goal is to make £100,000 from your coaching business. The first thing to identify if that is a revenue goal or a profit goal.
Then, let’s look at what that goal means to you. Why have you picked that number? What will it mean for your life or coaching business? Now, tie that goal to emotions (you’ll be familiar with this if you practice manifestation.) Imagine you have just achieved that goal; how does it feel? Do you feel:
- Relieved?
- Excited?
- Ecstatic?
- Free?
- Satisfied?
- Proud?
- Content?
- Happy?
- Fulfilled?
Pick a word (or add some of your own) and then write down why you would feel that way or what about the achievement would make you feel that way.
Now, when you imagine yourself achieving that goal, how do you see yourself achieving it? Where did that £100,000 come from? Was it from your coaching program or do you see yourself earning that £100,000 elsewhere in your coaching business?
Identify How You Will Achieve That Goal
Now it’s time to work out the specifics of the goal and what is needed to achieve the goal. Using the £100,000 revenue goal, work backwards to figure out how many spots you’ll need to sell on your coaching program. How many coaching clients per intake or sales per month does that represent? Is that realistic or will you need to supplement your coaching program with your other coaching services, a membership, or your coaching products?
Next, think about how you will sell that many coaching programs. How many coaching clients do you get from your current sales funnels? What can you do to increase the number of leads or the conversion rate of these sales funnels? Do you have the capacity to add a new sales funnel?
Go into detail about how you plan to make that £100,000 in revenue and what you need to change about each lead generation method to increase the money they make.
Think About the Processes and Systems You Need for That Goal
Now that you know how you will make that £100,000, look at the processes and systems you have in place. Can they handle the number of coaching clients you need to earn £100,000? How can you make your processes more efficient so that you have enough time to handle that many coaching clients? Are your current systems able to handle that many coaching clients? Will it cost extra to handle that many leads or coaching clients? If so, how much?
Also, consider what processes and systems you need to add to your coaching business. For example, onboarding processes and offboarding processes will make the business side of your coaching business much more efficient AND improve your coaching client experience.
Turn This Information into a Strategy Blueprint
Now that you’ve planned out what needs to happen, it’s time to prioritise. What needs to happen when? It can help to break the timeframe down into 2-3 month sections first before looking at each month individually.
Create a plan for how you’re going to grow each month and how you can make the growth sustainable to set yourself up for a £100,000 revenue year next year too. When do you want to update each sales funnel? When do you want to add a sales funnel? Which months will you need to update your processes and systems?
The goal of your strategy blueprint is to take the guesswork out of your big goals. You know exactly what you need to do next to get your coaching business one step closer to £100,000. Manifestation keeps your goal top of mind, but your strategy blueprint prompts you to take action towards your goals. All you need to do is follow the blueprint.
What’s Next
Armed with your strategy for the next 6-12 months, it’s time to take action. What can you do today to take the first step of your plan? Starting is often the hardest thing, so take the first step today while you’re excited about your goal. Once you’ve started, all you need to do is keep the momentum up.
Keep referring to your strategy blueprint and celebrating the progress you are making. £100,000 (or whatever your goal may be) here you come!
