When we work with customers, we like to break their product or service benefits down into two categories. This helps us to better understand their clients wants and needs. It also helps us identify the focal point of their copy.

How to Write About Industry News

New business owners are often chasing that six-figure business goal. Where that number came from is anyone’s guess. Perhaps, £100,000 is just a nice round number and sounds like someone who has “made it.” But, £100,000 can take a while to get to, especially if you are talking profit, not revenue.

In January, we talked a little bit about how to set business goals, but you also need to set small milestones along the way to really big business goals. Sure, £100,000 in a year may be the number where you feel you’ve “made it.” But, what is your profit goal for this year? For a business with a lot of overheads, breaking even in the first year or two could be huge. 10 sales per month are amazing for a business starting from scratch. Every £1 you make represents someone who was willing to pay for something you made.

Should I Register My Business Under My Home Address?

  • by

This is fine if you have a shopfront or physical location because you can just use that address. Someone will be there to handle any post, and someone showing up is no big deal. But what do you do if you run your startup from home?

Should You Review Your Business Strategies Once a Month?

  • by

Business planning and creating strategies take a long time, so as a business owner, you only want to do it once a year or every six months. But, doing that could be holding your business back. Reviewing every aspect of your business on a regular basis can help you identify what is working and what is not and make changes quickly.
